Behind-the-Monsters
The Kraals were originally meant to be insectoid in design, but the production team and final design settled on a rhino sort of look for the alien menaces.
Culture
Kraals who are high ranking in armadas go by titles. Styggron was Marhsall and Chief Scientist, whilst Chedaki was the Military Leader. When a Kraals died another Kraals is promoted to the position.
The masters of deception. Kraals took in Guy Crawford and made him believe they had reconstructed his entire body that was badly damaged; apart from one eye. They kept the deception by placing an eye-patch on Crawford covering the undamaged eye.
Technology
Developed Kraal androids through a pattern analyser which could imbed memories and intelligence of an individual into the blank state android. This technology extended to that of tracker dogs used by earth military personnel.
Created a deadly virus which was lethal to all biological life. Virus could render an individual helpless and kill them in a matter of seconds.
The ability to create ‘fake villages from nothing but memories from individuals. These fake villagers can be destroyed with special bomb which emitted a wave length cancelling out the false image. Everything inside the village and all physical objects are able to be brought into the real universe.
Data banks that held important information that Kraals could later use for further invasions. They had the ability to add the knowledge and experience of a Time Lord to these data banks.
Weapons
Small pistol like weapons which emit a red glow, killing individuals instantly.
Service Mechanic androids who are build solely for the purpose of security. These androids had built in pistols in their fingers which fired deadly sjots.
Unanswered Question: Despite their strong armadas and supposedly indestructible androids, Kraals seem to ‘give up’ invasion plans when a leader is killed. Styggron is killed, leaving Chedaki and the rest of the fleet hanging on. Did they turn around and go somewhere else?
Fear Factor Score: 4/10 (Menacing)
